I walked into my local LCBO and asked a good friend, who just happened to work there, for something new that was medium+ acid, fun, and not requiring a second mortgage. I knew I would be grilling sea bream that evening and was there on a food and wine pairing mission. My friend ushered me to the Martin Codax, Mara Martin Godello 2020 as the right thing for me.
This wine turned out to be a perfect match! The Mara Martin Godello possesses a flavour profile that makes it the ideal patio wine with foods off the grill, so much so that I just had to share.
